Who are we?
E-Bikes 4 Borderers (EB4B) is an active travel project founded in 2021 by the charity A Greener Melrose.
EB4B is a partnership between A Greener Melrose trustees and volunteers, and local providers of services such as e-bike maintenance, repairs and servicing, premises, promotions, bookings and customer service.
Our mission
At EB4B our mission is to give everyone the opportunity to try an electric bike and to learn how they might use one for journeys to work, for shopping and for leisure.
Cycling is ideal for reducing carbon emissions, it will save you money on fuel, and it’s a great way to get some light outdoor exercise while exploring the beautiful Borders countryside with family or friends.
Our hope is that by trying one of our bikes for a whole month for different activities, you will experience the difference a wee motor can make in a hilly area such as the Scottish Borders, decide to buy an e-bike for yourself and use it instead of a car.
